Skywarn

Skywar.pngSkywarn is a partnership between the Amateur Radio Community and the National Weather service.  Skyward provides a ground view of what NWS sees it's on weather radar, and aids the National Weather service in accurate reporting.  In order to take part, one needs to receive training as an official Spotter by the National Weather service.

Learn where training is available locally.  Take the course, and become an officially numbered weather spotter in the Skywarn System.  For more information email Kurt Fritsch (WA3TOY) the Skywarn Sub-Net Coordinator for Anne Arundel County Maryland at arswa3toy@verizon.net.
