Maryland VOTA Volunterrs wanted

As a part of the 2023 ARRL Year of the Volunteer celebration, the portable operation of the W1AW callsign will be occurring in states and territories throughout the United States. ARRL members in each state/territory will be approved to operate their stations during two different weeks in 2023 using the callsign W1AW/x where x is one of the local regions: 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, KL, KH0, KH2, KH6, KH7, KH8, KP2, KP3, or KP4. 

Amateur Radio operators in Maryland are invited to become approved W1AW/3 operators, adding to the fun and excitement of this yearlong event.

If you wish to be one of the official W1AW/3 authorized operators for Maryland, please contact the Maryland VOTA Coordinator, Sid Caesar, NH7C, at NH7C@arrl.net

Once approved as a W1AW/3 operator, you are eligible to select available two-hour operating time slots for the band and mode (SSB-CW-Digital) of your choice during the weeklong event. Special Note - There will not be any VOTA W1AW/3 assignments or operations on 12 Meters, 17 Meters, 30 Meters, 60 Meters, 630 Meters, and 2190 Meters, as those operations are prohibited for this event.
