I have put back online my simplex IRLP/ECHOIRLP node. It's node number is 4974. I'm curious as to it's coverage area, My expectation is approx. a 15 mile radious from the Pasadena area, however depending on the terrain between us the results may be different. If you would like to test the coverage from your QTH and report your results back with signal report, your rig info etc to this thread it would be appreciated. To access the node via IRLP use simplex 145.540 PL 107.2 The node will ID itself with my call sign, date and time by hitting the *4 key on your keypad Be sure you ID yourself as well. If you find that you have a reliable signal into the node and would like to use it for contacts anywhere in the world you can visit http://irlp.net and look for the node info link. This will give you the list of availalble nodes. If you are unsure how to bring up a node the information can be found on their page, or post your questions here.
