Anyone DX?

Forums:

In an effort to encourage Technician/Plus, Novice, and General License Holders to do some HF and 6m operating, I am sponsoring an award for the most LoTW DX confirmed from September to December 2015.

Basic Rules:

1) Must be a paid AARC Member during the QSO period of 2015 and 2016.

2) Must be a Technician/Novice/Technician Plus/General Class license holder during the period. If you upgrade to extra, you may count contacts until the date of your upgrade.

3) Contacts must be made between 9/1/2015 to 12/31/2015

4) Confirmations must be made within LoTW by 1/31/2016.

5) Summary and Log Submission by 2/7/2016

6) Bands allowed 160m through 6m per license band privileges.

7) You can submit for only category. Category Discriminators:

- Antennas: Non-Wire Antennas or Wire Antennas only (verticals are allowed if it is a wire vertical with or without wire radials). You must describe your antenna.

- Power: QRP (5 watts or less for all modes), less than 100 watts all modes, or > 100 watts all modes

- Class: Either Technician/Novice/Technician Plus or General Class. If you upgrade to General Class, you must submit all LoTW confirmed QSO as General Class.

8) QSOs for the period and confirmed in LoTW earn the following points:

3 pts for CW
2 pts for digital
2 pts for AM
1 pt for SSB

9) Multipliers:

1 for lower 48 USA states (not Alaska or Hawaii)
2 for NA, SA, EU
3 for OC, AF, AS
4 for Antarctica

An awards worksheet will be posted at the end of the contest period to assist in tally of points from an LoTW download.

Question, post them on the forum.
