Attention all YLs

Below is some information about the 2008 Young Ladies Radio League (YLRL) Convention. I've attended two of these events and they are fun! It's a great chance to meet other YLs who share our interests as well as some of the leading YL hams. I'm planning to attend this year as well.
I'll be driving to the convention (it's a two day drive) and if you'd like a ride let me know.
I plan to leave on Wednesday, 13 Aug about 7:30am arriving on the outskirts of Knoxville, TN around 5:00pm with about an hour stop for lunch in Stauton, VA.
I plan to leave the hotel on the east side of Knoxville around 7:30am and arrive at the Convention hotel about noon on the 14th.
I'm planning to leave Huntsville on Sunday, 17 August (Not sure if I will attend the "Dutch" breakfast) and drive up to Stauton, VA and stop for the night.
From Stauton, it's a comfortable 4 hour drive back home.
If you're interested in attending and want to share the cost of gas, please let me know. We can get 6 YLs in the van and we'll have VHF and HF radios to play with along the way.

Hunstville Area Young Ladies Amateur Radio Club.

This year, the YLRL convention is taking place at the same time as the Huntsville Hamfest and Southeastern ARRL Convention at the Von Braun Center. There will be forums, license exams, new Dealer show, flea markets, prizes and much more - all inside. Your registration to the YLRL Convention includes a ticket to the hamfest.
