W3VPR Packet Radio Node

W3VPR is a packet node with routing ability and a post office. It has been down for a while. Today, I fixed the problem with the station and have it mostly functioning again. The only thing missing is the antenna. That will be re-installed in the next few weeks when the club has some new antennas installed.

When the station is fully up it can be used as a normal packet node, static router, post office, and digipeater for extending the possible connect distance of packet stations. The operating frequency is 145.05 with w3vpr as the station call. As the station is also operating TCP/IP, an operator could telnet 44.60.224.99 and operate in a telnet session. SMTP will be available when internet connectivity is available on site. Until then, reconnect your TNCs and get ready.
