We operating for a little over ten hours. running two stations. We took a break for a short period to entertain a scout troop that stopped by for about an hour. We gave them a quick talk about ham radio, allowed all the scouts that wanted to make a contact via 2 meter simplex and a few of them wanted to make an HF contact the chance to do so. The two HF contacts made were in Tenn. and Alabama. Who knows, maybe the next generation of Contest hams just made there first contact in Ham Radio.
