Hi All

Welcome All!

As you can see the website is taking shape and should be completed shortly. One of the things that will help make this a success is having everyone partcipate. Our goal is to make the website not just an information tool as it has been in the past, but more of an interactive tool, allowing everying to share information, post questions, make suggestions for improvement etc.
With any new site, one of the hardest things to do is get the message forums active. Please help us with this, Introduce yourself, tell of about your interests in ham radio, How long you have been a ham, what got you started in the hobby.

Here's my info:
Became a Ham in 2002
Got interested when I read an ad in the newspaper about a Technician Class starting and thought it would be a fun thing to do.
Since that time, I am now one of three hams in my family. K3JMK my wife Jackie and K3ASK Andrew our son.

Things I enjoy about the hobby, include, contesting, PSK31, VHF, SSTV and working with new hams.

What about you???
73,
Steve

New and Improved Website

I love the changes to the wedsite, I am still exploring all the new areas, and things you can do.

I got into Ham Radio a few years ago. I read an Ad in the Bowie Blade, and before you know it I was in Tony & Oscar's Tech. class. What a wonderful experience. I have gone on to serve as the Club Secretary, and now working on my second term as Club President.

I enjoy HF, and the rag chewing. I am not big into contesting but I do jump in every now and then. I like to operate when I have free time and not on a schedule. I guess what I have found to be very rewarding is the educational side of Ham Radio and the club. We have had some outstanding presentations this past year by experts in their field.
